Staybridge Suites Marquette, an IHG Hotel

The location was excellent. We aren't incredibly familiar with Marquette, but it felt like the hotel was perfectly centered between the more local foods and attractions and the "chain" oriented area. We could drive right and grab a bite to eat at an awesome local restaurant or drive left and pick up some water from Walmart or a quick breakfast from McDonald's. The location was also a short drive away from a movie theater and numerous waterfalls. The rooms were comfy and very clean. Full kitchen with a nice stove, equally nice fridge, and a great assortment of dishes/cookware to use. I like my spaces to be borderline frigid, and the AC accomplished this. Can't go wrong with a plushy, king-sized bed. Not a single staff member failed to say "good morning" or "hello" or be just overall pleasant when we passed by. We had read some reviews about the staff being excellent and friendly, and they absolutely lived up to those reviews and then some.

Very hospitable and friendly staff, easy check-in/out, quiet location, the room was immaculate in terms of cleanliness. Our favorite part was the back "porch" area connected to the lobby, it was very comfortable and peaceful.

Good dinner and breakfast. Lots of food to choose. Comfy beds, friendly staff. Nice patio and fireplace in dining area. Like fridge had ice readily available.

Centrally located- bike trail access right behind hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good- very clean

the hotel was very nice and easy to find. we were able to attend the reception for a short time.
